Jes Successes at Irish Schools Rowing Regatta

T
he Irish Schools rowing regatta was held on the River Shannon at O’Briens Bridge, Co. Clare on April 24th and it proved to be a highly successful regatta for Coláiste Iognáid Rowing Club.  The school came away with four wins and four second place finishes.  All the victories came in girls events; under 16 eight, under 15 eight, under 15 coxed quad and under 14 coxed quad.  It is the second year in a row that the school won the prestigious under 15 and under 16 eights.
